Terms of Service
Last updated: March 4, 2026
The Short Version
Co-Founder is a desktop application that runs an autonomous AI agent on your machine. You own your code. You own your data. We provide the software.
Your Account
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any API keys you configure within Co-Founder. The agent runs locally — we don't have access to your sessions, code, or environment variables.
Your Code
Everything the AI agent creates during your sessions belongs to you. We make no claim to any code, content, or intellectual property generated through your use of Co-Founder.
The Software
Co-Founder is provided "as is." We're in early alpha. Things will break. We'll fix them fast. But we can't guarantee uptime, specific outcomes, or that your AI co-founder won't occasionally have a bad idea (just like human co-founders).
Payments
Paid plans are billed according to their stated terms. You can cancel anytime. Lifetime plans are one-time purchases and non-refundable after 30 days. We'll always honor the features promised at the time of purchase.
Acceptable Use
Don't use Co-Founder to build anything illegal, harmful, or that violates others' rights. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the application. Don't redistribute the software without permission.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
